85% of chronic disease is driven by our health habits and behavior not by our genes. This means we all have the power to reverse illness by creating healthier habits. Only 6% of Americans can say they adhere to the top five healthy habits:

Exercise

Sleep

Not Smoking

Healthy Weight

Drinking in Moderation

Full confession

I don’t always nail these behaviors either!

I stay focused on the prize, if I can hit these habits 80-90% of the time I know I can maintain my health, wellness, weight, etc.

As simple as that sounds, I think we all know that change is anything but easy. It takes drive, motivation, and strategy to change our habits—especially when most of our bad habits are things we’ve been doing for most of our lives. Most of all, it takes support—and that’s where I can help.

We know we should be making healthy choices like exercising, getting plenty of rest, not smoking, maintaining a healthy weight, and drinking moderately. Despite that, only 6 percent of Americans adhere to those five healthy behaviors.

The problem isn’t a lack of information; it’s that most people lack the strategy and support necessary to change a habit, even if they know they need to do it for their health.

And, let’s talk about how confusing nutrition can be! I have a health science degree, a minor in exercise physiology and a two year nutrition certification and I still have my moments of confusion over what to eat!

I will also consult with your primary care provider and this allows me to get to the root issues that may be holding you back from living your best and healthiest life. I don’t create program for my clients that might get them results only to lose the results as soon as my clients deviates from the program.
