Tip 31- Habits To Make Your Weight Loss Permanent In 2010 (Part 3)

By 4pm, 80% of women (the primary cook) have no idea what they are cooking for dinner. Talk about a stressful way to end your day!

As much as I dislike meal planning, if I don’t do it, I get overwhelmed at 6pm when I have hungry people to feed. I usually attempt a quick and not always healthy meal. When you eat under stress your body doesn’t effectively break the food down, so you end up feeling bloated, and in my case, frustrated because I didn’t plan ahead.

Now that I have that off my chest, let’s talk about a solution.

Today’s tip: Plan your meals and snacks. Start with your two busiest days (Monday and Tuesday for most people) and plan meals for those days. Plan a meal on Monday that makes for easy leftovers on Tuesday. For example, make (or buy) a rotisserie chicken for dinner and Tuesday turn the leftover chicken into a taco salad or shredded chicken burritos.
