Tip 26- Sleep Solutions

Here are a few simple solutions to give you a great night of sleep:

  • Wear socks to bed. Your body prepares for sleep by distributing heat from your core out to your fingers and toes; warm feet send a signal to your body that it’s time for sleep.
  • Get a dimmer switch. Bright lights keep your mind alert, so avoid bright lights from your laptop or even overhead lighting.
  • Chamomile tea contains a substance that promotes sleep and helps your body calm. (A word of caution: chamomile is in the ragweed family, which is a common allergen).

Today’s tip: Change your bedroom light bulbs to a low wattage and buy a fluffy pair of socks to wear to bed this weekend.
